We love hockey. And the City of Syracuse.
We are a tight-knit community of Central New Yorkers who share a love for the sport of hockey AND deep pride for the City of Syracuse.
The Syracuse Pond Hockey Classic (SPHC) tournament combines the soul of a sport built upon cold winters with the warm spirit of a neighborhood. This one-day pond hockey tournament - which usually takes place on Hiawatha Lake in the Strathmore Neighborhood of the city - will happen at the Clinton Square Ice Rink in downtown Syracuse in 2025.
Whether people come for the games, food, music or beer, it doesn’t matter. The goal is for players and spectators to experience a fun day of competitive pond hockey while enjoying an outdoor family-friendly event.
Join us at the tournament… and tell your friends. It’ll be CLASSIC!
